Mr. Gorman is looking to see if there is enough interest to put a team together for a 7 vs 7 Tournament in Maryland on Monday, Feb. 20th which is President’s day. Information will be available at the meeting on Sunday or you can call him.

District Free Throw Contest

The District Free Throw Contest will be on Saturday, February 11th at St.Barnabas School Gym on Bedford Ave. in Bellmore at 5 pm. If any member is available to rebound let Mr. Gorman know.  It will be over by 6:30 pm.

Hofstra Tickets

We have been given free tickets for the Hofstra vs Georgia State on Saturday, Feb. 4th with a 4 pm start. As part of the promotion for the tickets everyone will receive a voucher for a pretzel and 22 oz soda and the first 1,000 students who show up will get a basketball and hoop set. The tickets will be given out at our meeting on the 29th. If you have not ordered your tickets yet call Mr. Gorman at 780-4538.

Mr. Gorman would like to wish you all good luck with your exams.  This Sunday’s (1/29) ushers are Colm Magner, Ryan Droluk, Trevor Markin and Matt Schroeder.

We will be meeting at the Council this Sunday (1/29). The hall will be open for video games at 7 pm and the meeting will start at 7:30.  If you are going to bring a video game to play please call Mr. Gorman and let him know. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.

On Sunday, Feb. 5th team 5 has the ushering.  It is also Super Bowl Sunday so please check and make sure you can usher. If you have to leave when you finish ushering that is ok.
